EvoKe is Kirklees’ Cultural Education Partnership, providing opportunities for children and young people to benefit from the amazing creative and cultural offer across the borough.

EvoKe Kirklees has developed a vision for the future – which will enable all Kirklees based children and young people to have access to great arts and cultural opportunities. Our first high profile event was the staging and delivery of Our Biennale 2018, which created new artistic experiences, and offered children and young people the chance to take part in extraordinary creative and diverse arts experiences. Since then, we have continued to forge strong partnerships across the borough. Current work includes running the Kirklees Schools Arts Network, delivering EvoKe Network Meetings, developing the Young Ambassadors Right Now (YARN) Programme, collaborating on the WOVEN Festival, scoping out Our Biennale 2020 and developing an Arts and Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Programme.
